According to foreign media reports, Google Wednesday released the Android platform on the map application updates to better meet the competition from Apple’s map service.

The new version of Android Google Maps improves the list of public transport options for 500 cities worldwide and provides information such as inspiration and direction for more than 1 million bus stops worldwide for the first time.

With Google Maps new technology, users will be able to choose a specific public transport method when traveling, such as selecting a subway to filter out other transportation options such as buses.

Apple has decided to give up the use of Google Maps in the new version of iOS6. Google eager to update the Android platform map application, aimed at better products to compete with Apple’s own map service.
